Clients will be met at Victoria Falls airport and transferred to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. This beautiful lodge overlooks a private water hole and has a great restaurant and bar as well as swimming pool for cooling off after exploring Victoria Falls. Accommodation at both lodges is in standard twin ensuite rooms. Clients will get to visit one of the largest waterfalls in the world. Tumbling cascades of water that throw moisture far into the air ensure a cool walk through the bush and breathtaking views of the Falls. Victoria Falls is also home to a myriad of activities for the energetic traveler or for those who just want to relax, including bungee jumping, white water rafting, boat cruises and African market shopping.
In the morning on Day 3 you will be driven from Victoria Falls Safari Lodge to the Botswana Kazungula border a journey that takes approximately 1 hour. Here you will be met by a team from Explore Africa Travels to begin your mobile safari. You will meet your guide who will then drive you into Chobe National Park in your private 4×4 open vehicle. Enjoy a cold drink and a light packed lunch on the way. You will arrive in camp in the afternoon were you can either relax and enjoy your new surrounding or proceed on a short game drive and a sundowner near the Chobe river. On Day 4 there will be an early wakeup call followed by a light continental breakfast before you leave in a morning game drive to track animals large and small. You will return to camp, depending on what you find, for a light lunch/brunch. After this you can relax in camp and enjoy a siesta before heading off again in the afternoon around 3pm for another game drive before returning to camp for a hot bush shower and a meal under the stars in the evening. Along the Chobe riverfront the terrain is that of a typical riverine ecosystem. Away from the river we have mixed miombo and broadleaved woodland that harbours rich avifauna. Northern Chobe is famous for its huge elephant & buffalo herds, puku, kudu, Chobe bushbuck and hippo as well as diverse bird life. One could also hope to see: lion, leopard, wild dog, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala.
An early start on Day 5 to break camp and drive to Savute in the south/west region of Chobe. As the backup team break camp for moving day, you can enjoy a short game drive in Chobe before meeting up again and driving towards Savute in convoy.The backup team will then go ahead to set up camp, while you stop for a pack lunch on the way. The drive is approximately 5 hours through community areas and then through the national park.
Note: Mopane/Acacia level there is not a separate back up vehicle and your game viewing vehicle pulls trailer with all equipment and your chef and camp assistant travel in the same vehicle as the clients. After freshening up at your new camp you can go on a short game drive to explore your new surroundings. On Day 6 you have a whole day to explore Savute. An early start in the morning with a break in camp during the heat of the day for lunch and a rest, then back out in the afternoon ensures the best chances of seeing plentiful game. The Marsh in Savute is typical grassland surrounded by Acacia bush and stony outcrops. Savute is famous for its lone elephant bulls, its lions and hyaenas as well as the zebra and wildebeest migrations. Other game one can hope to see include: giraffe, tsessebe, warthog, black-backed jackal, leopard, cheetah, bat-eared fox, impala, wild dog, kudu
Another early start to break camp and drive to Moremi Game Reserve. As the back up team break camp for moving day you can enjoy a short game drive before meeting up again and driving towards Moremi in convoy. The back up team will then go ahead to set up camp while you stop for a pack lunch on the way. The drive is approximately 4-6 hours through the national park and community areas depending on whether the private campsite is in Khwai region or the wetland Delta area. Note: Mopane/Acacia level there is not a separate back up vehicle and your game viewing vehicle pulls trailer with all equipment and your chef and camp assistant travel in the same vehicle as the clients. After freshening up at your new camp you can go on a short game drive to explore your new surroundings. On Days 8 and 9 you can explore Moremi Game Reserve and the Delta. Moremi is the protected extension of the Okavango Delta and offers a typical wetland system with grassy plains and pans surrounded by well-developed mopane forests and riverine woodland. Huge breeding herds of elephant are common as are lechwe, waterbuck, impala, hippos. One can also hope to see buffalo, giraffe, bushbuck, lion, wild dog, leopard, cheetah, black-backed and side-striped jackal, zebra, wildebeest, tsessebe, bush babies, fruit bats, sable, kudu, roan, steenbok, duiker, honey badger. The birdlife includes water birds as well as dry land birds. If in the wetland side of Moremi clients can also opt for mokoro trips and boat cruises.

Transfer to Maun for your onward travel arrangements.
